In a world where spirits live inside the most powerful warriors, the line that separates life and death is thin. A rotten world ruled by the law of the strongest, filled with sorrow, despair and fear. But, the prophecy tells of an unborn child with a strong heart, the heart of the Magnifica.
Magnifica West Origins is inspired by the Claymore and Berserk mangas, it started in the form of a doujin based on the world of Claymore: "Charlotte Saga". This doujin already contained some of the characters that would be used in the MWO script.
The story core is about humans being born with supernatural spirits that gives them superhuman abilities.
Humans inherit spirits of the nature at birth: Forest, Fire and Wind. Nothing could challenge the power of those humans, or so it seemed.
The rivalty between the three factions and the lack of a definive power led to a bloodsome battle: The battle of the three realms. After an endless carnage, only three survivors remained, the most unexpected of all, the original human spirit had been greatly understimated.
The survivor pure breads and their future bearers would dominate the world for centuries. Unlike the human hosts, spirits are immortal and are constantly inherited by new humans, unless the original bearer never dies (or has an incredible long lifespan).
A misterious organization called the Guardians of The Phoenix tries to fight the world's tyranny, if they fail, everything will be doomed.
